Noga Botansky
Member of the Board
Noga was born in Haifa and is a member of Kibbutz Beit Hashita. A teacher and educator; Noga served as the representative of the kibbutz movement under the leadership of the Histadrut for 16 years and then as the director of Oranim College for 10 years. Noga is a representative and conciliator at the Labor Court in Nazareth.
As a believer in the human spirit, in the necessity of gaining knowledge before forming an opinion and taking a stand, Noga sees fruitful group learning as the key to personal development leading to social and national influence
Yossi Maimon,
CEO of the Berl Katzenelson Foundation
An accountant by training. He holds a BA in economics and accounting from Tel Aviv University and an MA in law. Prior to his role as CEO of the foundation, he served in senior management positions in global and public companies in the real estate and communications industries. Yossi is married and a father of three. He lives in Even Yehuda.
Rami has served as director of the Social Economic Academy (SAE) since 2013. In March 2017, he was appointed director of the conceptual center, as part of the strategic cooperation between the organizations. He’s served as the organizational coordinator of “Power to the Workers” for 5 years and has accompanied workers’ rights organizations in various fields. He has taught sociology and public policy at Ben-Gurion University, the Open University and Beit Berl college and has written a thesis on the processes of privatization and inequality in the Israeli education system. He writes for various platforms and lectures on social Zionism, public policy and social change in Israel. A husband and a father, he lives in the Yad Eliyahu neighborhood of Tel Aviv.
Stav Gil,
Deputy Director of Education at “Acharay “
Stav is Be’eri’s first director and one of the founders of the “Yahav” program. He currently serves as the deputy director of education at the ”Acharay” organization. He is married, father of two and lives in Beit Berl.

Gilad Rabinovich
Chairman of the Board
Gilad Rabinowitz is a social entrepreneur and business man. He is the father of three girls, a graduate of Bar Ilan University in Economics and with a Masters in Israeli Studies from Haifa University, EDS.
Gilad has served as a senior executive in several companies such as CEO of Malam Netvision and COB for ACE Hardware. He is the owner of a strategic consulting company and serves as a Director for Mizrahi Bank.
In addition, he volunteered as the Deputy Director for Shoham Regional Council in charge of Education and as Chairman of the Office of System Analysis and Director in Tsofen Associaltion which promotes employment of Israeli-Arabs in hi-tech industries.
Gilad is the author of the book, Manageology and a guest lecturer at Ono Academy for the MBA program.

Amram Mitzna
Retired Chairman of the Board
A graduate of the IDF Junior Command Preparatory School at the Hebrew Reali school in Haifa.
Mitzna has served in the military for 30 years in various positions, including leading troops in battle, commanding military staff and educating at academies across the world.
During his service as Commander – in – Chief, Central Command, between the years 1987-89, Mitzna has initiated the establishment of the first pre-military preparatory courses in the Benjamin, Judea and Samaria regions.
After his discharge from the IDF, he was elected mayor of Haifa, and for 10 years served the city known best for its coexistence between Jews and Arabs, religious and secular.
Later in his career, he was elected the head of the Labor party, serving in the Knesset as chairman of the Education, Culture and Sports Committee, among other positions.
Over a five year process, Mitzna has lead the local council of Yerucham towards positive change, bringing many achievements and accomplishments to the southern city.
Amram is an integral part of the establishing of Be’eri Mechina, and has served as its chairman since its beginning up until late 2020.

Yiftach Dabush
Member of the board
Married to Ayala and father to Manny, Itamar and Yair.
Attorney by profession.
Yiftach grew up in Moshav Zeitan and was educated in the Ben Shemen boarding school.
Engaged in agriculture in his youth. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and Spanish Diaspora from Bar Ilan University and a bachelor’s degree in law from the Ono Academic Campus.
Served as the secretary of the Foundation for Rehabilitation Enterprises for the Disabled – a body of the Ministry of Welfare which dealt with vocational rehabilitation for people with disabilities. The main purpose of the fund was to provide professional training for people with disabilities and occupational barriers and their integration into the labor market.
Served as Director General of the Chamber of Internal Auditors in Israel.
As a project manager on behalf of the Berl Katzenelson Foundation, he has been involved in the establishment of the Be’eri mechina from day one.
He currently serves as secretary of the Histadrut in the Tel Aviv area.
